GREENWELL COE, trained by Tom Heilbron for Kenny Glen, completed an unbeaten run through the competition with a brilliant performance to land the £8,000 Yorkshire Derby final over 483m at Doncaster.

Uneasy in the market from 9-4 out to 3-1 as strong support took Vixons Filofax in the opposite direction, Greenwell Coe immediately set about putting any doubts to bed as he quickly asserted.

Comfortably clearing the first bend ahead, he was pursued by wide-running Bellmore Ozzy into the back straight albeit at a four lengths margin and that was as close as anything got.

Powering away from the third turn, Greenwell Coe came home more than six lengths ahead of a staying on Ballymac Lineout in a Newcastle one-two with Bellmore Ozzy half a length away in third and just holding favourite Vixons Filofax for that position.

The winning time was a superb 28.96sec, just nine spots outside King Eden's 2017 track record and the third fastest ever over the trip.

Heilbron afterwards revealed that the Greenwell Coe is now heading to Pat Buckley for a tilt at the Irish Derby at Shelbourne Park before likely returning for the British Bred Derby at Sheffield.

Fabulous Dyna retained her BGBF British Bred St Leger title when outstaying her rivals in the £3,000 decider over 661m.

Laurence Tuffin's bitch collared early leader Acomb Jasper at the fifth bend and pulled away to beat Fabulous Tempo by almost four lengths in 41.49sec.

It was a third successive victory in the event for Tuffin and owner Dave Firmager whose winning run started with Romeo Riot in 2022.

Highlight of the undercard was a track record run by Kevin Ferguson's Acomb Felix in a 450m final as he made all in 27.13sec, three spots inside Droopys Country's eight-year-old mark.

Other finals were won by Debbie Calvert's Dannys Flyer (16.95sec) over 275m and Craig Morris' Druids All Go (29.14sec) over 483m.

Calvert was completing a double having scored previously with Lindrick Niall, a feat emulated by Chris Gilbert (Oakfield Murty/Tip Top Maverick) and Patrick Janssens (Breton Molly/Romeo Command).
