Asher is class Towcester act but Trade definitely the market play

HEADFORD ASHER had to work hard before regaining the winning thread last time but Maxine Locke's charge remains a top class prospect and stands out in heat two of the JR Racing Puppy Trophy over 500m at Towcester (2.52).

He is yet to fully develop the art of trapping quickly but has everything else in his locker and should be far too good all-round for his rivals as he looks to make it five wins in six career starts.

The opening heat at 2.16 can go to Patrick Janssens' Romeo Ability with the same trainer's Droopys Trade, a Derby quarter-finalist, appealing as the best bet of the day in heat three at 3.29.

There are also SIS Sunday meetings at Doncaster, Valley, Mullingar, Star Pelaw, Clonmel and Lifford.
