Best comes last in quarters but there is an ante-post sting in tail

THE card supporting the Star Sports/TRC English Derby quarter-finals at Towcester on Saturday might not have whetted punters' appetites as much as expected but the action certainly built as the night progressed.

In his weekly catch-up with Jonathan Kay, Star Sports' head of on course Kaan Hughes takes us through the betting on those quarters and explains why the business on the finale was as tremendous as the race itself.
