Buck hat-trick is on the cards in Mullingar's Wednesday finale

ROSCREA BUCK has made the perfect start to his career with wins in newcomer and then graded company and a hat-trick is very much on the cards when he goes in Mullingar's A5 finale over 525 yards at 8.43

Ronan Colgan's dog actually drops in class due to the time-based nature of the Irish grading system but only one of his rivals boasts a quicker clocking than his 29.38sec (calc) debut success.

Throw in the fact that the selection again has the benefit of the inside draw and he does stand out as the best bet of the day.

Other Mullingar fancies are David Murray's Card Or Cash (6.21), Rita Carberry's Kilmessan Tiara (6.56) and Joe Campbell's Home Maeve (8.26).

There is morning Irish action at Kilkenny where the suggestions are Gordon Rotheram's Chiltern Emmie (11.29), John Connolly's Larkins Sophie (12.21) and the syndicate-owned Comer Tom (12.54).

Harlow has the usual Wednesday double-header with the suggestions being Debbie Hurlock's in-form Townsend Peggy (1.03) who can register a fifth win in seven, and Maurice Rice's Headford Oisin (7.04).

Afternoon-wise the action comes from Doncaster with Debbie Calvert's consistent Jazza Belle set for a deserved success at 4.26. 

The scheduled afternoon meeting at Valley has been cancelled due to forecast high temperatures.
