Carrigoon set for Donny Puppy Derby repeat win

CARRIGOON CECE can again show her Category One credentials by dominating her rivals in the second semi-final of the Doncaster Puppy Derby over 450m at then south Yorkshire (7.58).
Michelle Brown’s Romford Puppy Cup heroine was foot perfect in the heats seven days ago and rather than ponder whether she will repeat instead focus on why she will.
Best bet of the night could come in the third semi at 8.16 in the shape of Mark Brighton’s Frankton Grange.
The Yarmouth-based greyhound was all at sea in his pre-competition trial and showed significant improvement to win his heat with the promise of more to come.
Kevin Hutton can land the opening semi at 7.42 courtesy of Maree Shola who is also getting to grips with the track.

Star Pelaw’s evening meeting has three heats of the Alan Dobbin Maiden Derby over 435m for which the suggestions are Ross Miller’s Loxleys Ace (6.56), Sam Atkinson’s Francisco Bay (7.14) and Dean Blackbird’s Droopys Bugle (7.31).
Glenn Foot can land a one-off double courtesy of Caister Kay (7.51) and Witton Gucci (8.26) over 435m and 590m respectively.
Thurles is the afternoon venue where James Treacy's unexposed Montore Mo (3.59) makes most appeal with earlier suggestions being the Paddy Scally duo of Cabra Chief (3.03) and Cabra Rambo (3.22).
