Close on the clock in Oxford's BetGoodwin Standard heats

JUST four spots separated the two heat winners in the BetGoodwin Standard over 450m at Oxford on Sunday 25th January.

The Dave Lewis-trained Alright Twinkle justified 5/4 favouritism in the opener, collaring long-time leader Newinn Bliss at the final turn and powering on for a near three lengths victory in a hand-timed 26.65sec (-10). Jazzy Mia qualified in third.

Kevin Hutton had the front three in the market in heat two with victory going to his Baran Tombstone (9/4), who made all to beat Lewis' Alright Grace by three lengths in 26.69sec with Jimmy One Shot a head away in third.
