Dartnall pup is the Wise choice at Oxford after noble effort latest

IS THIS WISE may have lost his unbeaten record at the third time of asking but he went down with honours and Matt Dartnall's pup can regain the winning thread in Oxford's A3 over 450m at 6.56.

All five of the rivals he met last time have raced subsequently with two winning and two finishing second so the form looks solid and a similar effort to that the youngster produced on that occasion may well suffice.

Having started slowly in all three races to date, it is fair to expect more of the same but he can wind it up off the second bend and take charge in the closing stages.

Harlow has a morning/evening double-header with Debbie Hurlock's Donegal Cian (12.12) and Di Jinks' Bang On Alfie (7.58) the picks, while Billy Kenny's Super Trouper (1.29), Heather Dimmock's Grafton Lucky (3.49) and Myles Cummins' Snuggie Bobby (8.48) can score at Mullingar, Towcester and Limerick respectively.
