Derby Festival ticket details confirmed for participants

NAMED owners of Star Sports/TRC Greyhound Derby contenders are being offered up to four free tickets to watch their runners in every round of the Towcester Classic up until the final on Saturday 14th June.

Additionally, GBGB licence holders - including trainers, kennelhands and officials - can receive two free tickets for each round up to final night.

After weeks of build-up, the Star Sports/TRC English Greyhound Derby begins at Towcester on Thursday with the first of three nights of first-round action which continues across Friday and Saturday also. Ten heats will be staged on Thursday and 11 apiece on Friday and Saturday.

In a change to previous years, owners will not gain entry at the gate without having a valid ticket and all owners with greyhounds running on the night will be allocated parking in the main car park only at Towcester Racecourse.

All named owners, whether part-owner or full, of greyhounds running at any meeting where a Derby heat is taking place will receive four tickets free of charge via email. This includes owners associated with both graded runners and supporting open races on the night.

For syndicate-owned greyhounds, up to 10 complimentary general admission tickets will be issued by email.

If any other tickets are required for owners’ guests, there will be a 50 per cent discount off the full general admission ticket price using a discount code per owner (limited to ten tickets) for that meeting. Email derby2025@greyhoundracinguk.com for a discount code.

All GBGB licence holders, including trainers, kennelhands and officials, will also receive two General admission tickets free of charge for every round, excluding Derby final night, regardless of whether they have an associated runner at the meeting.

To receive tickets, GBGB licence holders should send an email to derby2025@greyhoundracinguk.com, providing a photo of their current and valid GBGB licence. Two free tickets will then be emailed out.

GBGB licence holders accompanying greyhounds running that night will use the trainers’ entrance where their licence will be checked and they will be given access to the trainers’ car park. Parking for everyone else will be in the main car park.
