Diamond still outright favourite despite toughest of R3 draws

BOCKOS DIAMOND just remains outright favourite with the sponsor for the BOYLE Sports Irish Derby at 7/2 but kennelmate Bombay Pat (4/1) is breathing down his neck.

The Graham Holland duo received contrasting third round draws for next Saturday with reigning champion Bockos Diamond pitched in against kennelmate and 2024 runner-up Cheap Sandwiches plus UK star Proper Heiress in a stellar third heat, whereas Bombay Pat does not face a rival quoted at under 33/1 in heat five for all there is depth to the contest.
