Dowling to land Kingdom Derby with his speedy Solo And Go

IRELAND takes centre stage on Friday's SIS schedule with €5,000 finals the highlight at both Clonmel and Tralee this evening.
The 2025 Eric Browne Memorial Kingdom Derby decider over 525 yards at Tralee (9.18) is arguably the day's feature and looks a great opportunity for Liam Dowling's Solo And Go to open his big-race account having gone so close in the Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park last month when just outstayed by Magical On Fire.
He will need to trap better than in the eliminators a week ago as there is pace to clear but, in the expectation that he does, this race could be effectively over by the first bend.
Best on the supporting card at the Kingdom Stadium could be Daniel Nolan's Ardrahan Kahoot in an A4 final at 9.31 with other picks being the Patrick O'Connor duo of Kerogue Lady (8.26) and Ranger Calypso (10.06).

The main event at Clonmel is the Munster Christmas Cup decider over 525 yards at 8.48 in which Graham Holland's Slippery Brian can shade fellow unbeaten finalist Jerrivee De Meg with supporting fancies being Thomas Reale's Double Header (7.48) and Paraic Campion's Burgess Bonnie (8.32).
There is also early Friday Irish action at Mullingar where the best may come last in the shape of Vincent Lynch's Killeshil Devine (1.47) who gets an ease in class.
Harlow has a morning/evening double-header with Phil Ward's in-form veteran Dower Rafa (12.46) and Sharon Saberton's debutant eye-catcher Headford Musk (7.42) the respective main fancies.
Oxford and Suffolk Downs hold the afternoon fort with the picks being Terry Nevin's downgraded Savana Ripple (3.11) and Anne Kirby's consistent Droopys Beholder (3.22).
