Downgrade demands Diva be supported in Waterford contest

BALLYGUR DIVA can register a fourth victory in eight starts in the grade by taking Waterford's A6 over 525 yards at 2.03.

Conor Hanlon's charge comes into the contest on the back of a rare disappointing effort one rung up but she has generally been competitive without winning since an April/May hat-trick.

This looks a field she can lead and, that being the case, she could soon build a winning advantage.

Other fancies at the early Kilcohan Park fixture are Paddy Flynn's Walkabout Charly (12.38) and Gordon Rotheram's Chiltern Vixen (1.12).

There is also Thursday Irish SIS action at Limerick this afternoon where the main fancies are Michael O'Brien's Ballinulty Flick (3.41) and Donal Casey's Varra Lasrach (4.18).

The Valley evening meeting is spiced by two divisions of a 460m open in which the suggestions are Christian Darch's Pandy Chris (6.46) and Shaun Chappell's Simpson Sniper (7.58).
