Enniscorthy set to feature on SIS weekly from the start of October
ENNISCORTHY is set to join the regular SIS schedule with the first meeting pencilled in for 1st October.
The introduction of a new tea-time evening racing slot will see Thursday racing from Enniscorthy broadcast to both national and international betting audiences, significantly enhancing the track's profile and reach.
The move represents another important step in broadening opportunities for owners, trainers, breeders and racing supporters, while showcasing Enniscorthy racing to a global audience through SIS's extensive distribution network.
Enniscorthy will bring the number of Irish tracks on the regular SIS roster to 12 while all the major events at Shelbourne Park are also covered.
Commenting on the development, Tim Lucey, CEO of Greyhound Racing Ireland, said: "This is a significant milestone for Enniscorthy Greyhound Stadium and for greyhound racing in the region.
“Bringing Enniscorthy's Thursday meetings to a national and international audience through SIS is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the quality of racing at the venue.

Myles Roban on behalf of the Board of Enniscorthy Greyhound Stadium said: "We are delighted to partner with GRI on the SIS Platform from October 2026.
“This is the next chapter in the history of Enniscorthy Greyhound Track in our 93rd year of racing at the Showgrounds and we hope it proves to be successful for all associated with the Stadium.”
Racing at The Show Grounds in Enniscorthy officially started on August 3rd 1933 although there was sporadic racing earlier at the venue.
Mile Bush Pride, who won the English, Scottish and Welsh Derby 'Triple Crown' in 1959, and 1961 English Derby champion Palms Printer are amongst famous names from the past to have started their racing careers at Enniscorthy as, more recently, did the 2021 English Derby winner Thorn Falcon.
