Enniscorthy SIS launch for sisracing.tv is lauded

ENNISCORTHY heralded the start of October by joining the sisracing.tv service with the first of what will be a weekly Thursday evening meeting.

The eight-race card was well received with Richard Brankley, head of greyhound operations for SIS, saying: “It was pleasing to see Enniscorthy make its debut on the SIS service with a strong eight-race full-field programme.

“I would like to thank Tim Lucey for his kind words ahead of the first meeting and the continued support of GRI.

“The picture quality was excellent, while the competitive finishes showcased the excitement and quality of racing on offer.

“Equally impressive was the presentation of the track, the professionalism of the trainers, and the overall standard of the event.

“Our objective remains to provide exposure to as many tracks across Ireland as possible, while ensuring we do not overstretch existing resources.

“With 13 tracks now featuring regularly on the service, the depth and geographical spread of Irish greyhound racing continues to grow.

“After all the excitement of the Irish Derby, the top-quality action keeps coming.

“This month sees two of Ireland's premier events take centre stage, with the Laurels at Cork and the St Leger at Limerick both set to provide outstanding competition and further showcase the strength of the sport.”
