Fitter Devon looks good for Doncaster B6 challenge

DEVON LUCKY was having his first four-bend run at the track, and first anywhere since September, when just shaded recently and should strip much fitter for Doncaster's B6 over 450m at 4.07.

Craig Williams’ dog did not hit the front until the second bend on that latest outing but can take early control here.

A four-times sprint winner since March, he can build a decisive lead by halfway.

The other afternoon fixture is at Valley where Tony Morgan's Pure Panfila can end a lengthly losing sequence in an A6 at 4.56.

Harlow has the usual Wednesday double-header with Debbie Hurlock’s Legendary Rebel set to complete an A7 double in the 12.12 at the early meeting, while Maurice Rice's veteran Swift Uno looks to have a great make-up in an evening D4 at 8.52.

Scheduled Irish meetings at Kilkenny and Mullingar have been cancelled due to forecast high temperatures.
