Fortune can favour in-form Zoos in Towcester's sprint opener

ZOOS FORTUNE can make a D3 breakthrough at the ninth time of asking with victory in Towcester's 270m opener at 1.57.

Trained by Abi Steels, he has recently reverted to sprinting and landed the odds in a D4 with a minimum of fuss two outings ago, despite starting slowly, before a creditable third at this level last time.

He certainly seems in better form than most of those he meets today with none of them close to matching his penultimate 16.27sec on the clock.

Thursday's SIS schedule begins with early meetings at Oxford and Waterford with Nick Deas' Swift Chase (11.38) making plenty of appeal at the first-named venue, while Jonathan Rolle's Force Ten (12.54) is the standout at Kilcohan Park.

Limerick is the other Irish card to feature with Chris O'Dwyer's Lion And Legend (4.56) the main fancy, and there is evening action at Star Pelaw and Valley with Ken Kennedy's Mohane Bruno (6.39) and Tony Morgan's Tobergal Suzanne (8.16) the respective suggestions.
