Hearns can hit his Suffolk rivals where it hurts for another win

MOANING HEARNS is a neck short of being a perfect four from four at the track and Darren Whitton's speedy dog stands out in the 7.51 over 220m at Suffolk Downs.

A photo-finish reverse here last November was followed by three straight wins in January and February then trips to Hove and Oxford where he was far from disgraced in stronger company.

Perfectly drawn in six this evening, he will need to look lively at the start but that has rarely been an issue and he can have matters in hand by the opening bend.

Jane Craske's brilliant veteran Laugh Alot stretched her course and distance winning sequence to five with an emphatic performance last week it will be a surprise if she does not make that six in the 6.39 over 388m.

The 8.26 over 548m is a decent affair with the vote going to Nathan Hunt's Inca Lewie after his smart Romford victory last Friday.

Michelle Brown rarely leaves Suffolk Downs empty-handed and her best chance looks to be Bucking Bucks in the 388m finale at 8.43 with earlier claims being held by her Twentyfourseven (7.14) and Bodell Bucks (8.09).

There is also evening action at Star Pelaw where Glenn Foot's Dyno Bluebelle can shrug off an upgrade to A4 class to compete a double at 7.24.
