Hiskins Girl set for career first after latest Lifford near-miss
HISKINS GIRL can open her career account at the eighth time of asking with victory in Lifford's A6 over 525 yards at 5.29.
Willie Mullan's bitch began with a couple of low-key Dundalk sprint outings but has really found her stride recently at current base, producing a career-best when just shaded last time.
Still with further scope for improvement, she looks capable of calling the shots here and can repel all challengers.
Earlier Lifford fancies are Dean Townsend's Ballycowen Izzy (2.26), Edward Duffy's Lipstick Lucy (3.22) and Paul Whyte's Hollywell Toffee (3.41), while Veronica Drea's Pops Sophie (6.46) and David O'Neill's Chamberlain Ruby (7.42) look good at Clonmel this evening.

Pick of three opens on the Valley morning card is a 260m sprint at 12.38 in which Craig Marston's Monmore raider Sadele can record a third successive victory at the track.
There is also early action at Doncaster where Jimmy Gaskin could have a field day with the 'Redbrick' prefix with Redbrick Beckham (11.38), Redbrick Asp (11.54), Redbrick Iceman (12.12), Redbrick Rose (12.46) and Redbrick Daisy (1.03) all looking to have strong chances.
