Honeypound can trap smartly to account for A6 Limerick rivals

HONEYPOUND FIADH makes only her second-ever A6 appearance in Limerick's 4.18 over 525 yards and the hint should be taken.

Michael Carmody's bitch scored in A5 company as recently as 19th February and, after a couple of quiet runs, showed a lot more promise last time.

That came about in part due to improved trapping and further progress in that regard should have her up with the pace from the off.

There is also Irish morning action at Waterford and Youghal with Mary Flynn's Coco Deluxe (1.47) and Edel Twomey's Witches Adam (7.31) the respective main fancies.

First meeting under way is Oxford where Barrie Backhurst's Savana Rustic can capitalise on a downgrade to take the A5 finale at 1.03, Anna Jeffery's Affleck Airborne looks good in Valley's afternoon sprint opener at 1.57, while the UK evening action comes from Suffolk Downs with Jason Smith's Westfield Forno (7.24) the suggestion.
