Semi-final action much to the fore beginning with Tralee's Kingdom Stadium with the Lee Strand 550, followed by Kilkenny and the Champion Open Unraced 525 then the Friends Of Newbridge A1 Derby and Shelbourne's Islandbridge Open 350 .
Sticking with Shelbourne, the Saturday meeting there saw the first round heats of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks plus the final of the Shelbourne Champion 550 while there is also a nod to the Irish challenge in Towcester's Star Sports English Derby.
