In-form Bridevalley makes Max appeal in Cork open sprint test

BRIDEVALLEY MAX was a real slow burner but dropping back to two bends has been the making of him and he can complete a hat-trick in Cork's open sprint over 330 yards at 8.09.

Margaret O'Herlihy's dog has won five of his last eight having been on a losing run of 17 prior to that so the upturn in form is there for all to see.

He holds half the field on various lines and one of his usual fast starts can quickly see him in control.

Other Curraheen Park fancies are Mike Naughton's Topside Tommy (7.51) and Kieran Lynch's Butterbridge Jaz (9.01), while Ian Reilly's Burj Azizi (11.45), David O'Neill's Shrewd Prospect (12.38) and Joe Campbell's Home Chase (1.47) can score at the early Irish fixture at Mullingar.

Harlow has a Friday double-header with Darren Whitton's Moaning Versace (11.54) fancied for a second win in three at the early meeting, while Sharon Saberton's Dellser Sheeran (7.24) can follow up a recent narrow D3 success at the evening fixture.

Best on the Star Pelaw afternoon card is Colin Dibb's Loxleys Tommo (3.41) back over four bends in A6 company.
