Irish Derby opening round heats attract record sisracing.tv views
THE first two nights of action in the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby attracted record numbers to the sisracing.tv website.
For the first time ever, page views over the course of the the week passed the 100,000 mark, topping the previous best of 95,000 for the quarter-final stage of the 2025 Irish Derby when UK raider Proper Heiress beat the eventual champion Cheap Sandwiches in a classic contest.
Both Friday and Saturday's batches of first round heats at Shelbourne Park attracted similar numbers of views with the results hub - where HD quality replays are available within minutes of a race - responsible for almost a third of the total.

Richard Brankley, head of greyhound operations for SIS, said: “We're delighted to have attracted such strong viewer numbers on sisracing.tv over the first two nights of the Irish Derby.
"It's the biggest event going and we want to support GRI and BOYLE Sports in showcasing the excellent competition they are staging.
"The ability to show instant replays of all Irish races on the results section has proven especially popular during the opening round.”
The sisracing.tv website launched in April 2024 and offers live streaming of every race shown on SIS from a current roster of 16 greyhound tracks.
