James and Koley can battle to victory in Puppy Derby again

WI CAN JAMES (8.32) and Kapuka Koley (8.48) can complete a trap five double in the semi-finals of the TIME Greyhound Nutrition Puppy Derby over 525 yards at Shelbourne Park.
The Pat Guilfoyle-trained Wi Can James is unbeaten in the event albeit he had to battle very hard for a last-gasp success seven days ago and it could be just as tough tonight although his brilliant first round 27.88sec is still fresh in the memory.
Karol Ramsbottom's Kapuka Koley was another to get on top close home last week and it could be more of the same this evening with the vacant trap on his inside caused by the withdrawal of Carrick Becks a definite advantage.
The duo both get Ian Fortune's vote with the Shelbourne Park commentator having race-by-race analysis of the SIS action via the link below - his nap is Guilfoyle's Waitingforastar in a 550 yards maiden heat at 9.24 and next best Michael O'Donovan's Brother Thomas in the 525 yards opener at 7.34.

Other Shelbourne fancies from this quarter are Shaun Conway's Jacktavern Storm (8.03), Paul Hennessy's Supa Mac (9.06) and O'Donovan's Berlin Trilogy (9.54).
The Saturday action commences at Youghal where the fancies are Adam Dunford's Dangan Conor (10.26), Derek Kehoe's Slaneyside Champ (10.57) and Sean Faul's Bitter Bryan (12.21).
There is also morning action at Doncaster where Shaun Birks' Ballymac Tingle can make it three wins in her last five by beating D3 sprint rivals over 275m at 11.04.
Donny has a double-header with the evening fixture comprising an all-open 10-race card at which the suggestions are Phil Milner's Epic Rebel (6.46), Sam Lapidge's Gothic Joshua (7.24), Dave Fradgley's Look Smart (8.34) and Sean Davy's Jameson Johnny (8.52).
There is also evening open action at Star Pelaw with the weekly Mickys Tribute exhibition timed for 6.39 when Ricky Holloway's star hurdler attempts an eighth straight win at the track with the other main fancy being Cheryl Ingham's Sunnyside Gurkha (8.26).
