Khatani reconnaissance mission can lead to Donny final victory

MURROW KHATANI was having his first look at the track when outstayed by Foxwood Carter in the heats and is fancied to reverse the form in Doncaster's 483 Standard Competition final at 9.09.

Richard Fitch's Yarmouth raider needs to clear the other heat winner, Ballymac Alyssa, but sectionals suggest that is on the cards and he can build enough of a lead to ensure victory as he bids to improve a record that has only seen him out of the first three twice in 25 career starts.

The other Donny final is over 450m at 7.04 with Michelle Brown's Tomahawk, another picked up seven days ago, fancied to produce a different outcome when it really matters.

Other non-maiden one-off fancies are the David Fradgley quartet of Rental Crisis (6.11), Tiermana Lucky, who can record a fifth straight win by seeing off Salacres Senan at 7.24, Daring Moaner (8.34) and Stonepark Wes (8.52).

There is also a morning card at Doncaster at which Shaun Birks' Glideaway Falcon (12.04) looks best, while Laurence Tuffin's Easy Texas (11.54) can make all at Towcester.

Jeremiah Kelleher's Canvas Ellie (3.03), Kevin Hutton’s Senahel Bingo (8.09) and Donna Davy’s Random Vicky (8.32) are the picks at Youghal, Oxford and Valley respectively.
