Lorcan to make successful return with show of Waterford strength

ALMIGHTY LORCAN can make a successful Waterford return after a spell at Youghal by proving strongest all-round in an A7 over 525 yards there at 1.47.

Gerard Purcell's charge takes quite a while to get into top gear but fairly rattles home in the second half of contests and may have this run to suit.

With speed amongst his rivals, a clear run round the first couple of bends should see him in position to strike when it matters.

Other fancies at the morning Kilcohan Park meeting area are Ballygur Ruby (11.29), Mrs Hoffa (11.45) and White Lulu (12.38).

There is also Thursday Irish action at Limerick this afternoon where Enniscouch Flash (3.22) is an early standout, likewise Ballyelan Sally in the opener at 3.03 while Kilscannell Lady (4.56) can score subsequently.

Valley holds the evening fort with Anna Jeffery's Breaking Stones fancied to go one better than a couple of recent near-misses in a D4 sprint over 260m at 8.34.
