Lottie's strength denies Kubelik late in Oxford's BGBF Oaks final

COPPICE LOTTIE (9/1) proved best of trainer Kevin Hutton's five-strong team as she outstayed kennelmate Miss Kubelik to land the £3,000 BGBF British Bred Oaks final over 450m at Oxford.
Miss Kubelik cut across favourite Signet Nayla to lead at the first bend and looked to have done enough when building a decent lead only for the stamina of four-time six-bend winner Coppice Lottie to kick in.
Closing in rapidly from three-quarters, the Tony Brearley-owned bitch got up for a neck victory in posting 27.03sec (-20).

Hutton won all four of the opens he was represented in on the night with Coppice Ronnie, Coppice Trophy and Rioja Maxi landing supporting one-offs.
