Magical Mag has enough left in tank to claim Lifford Oaks final

MAGICAL MAG got it right on the big night to claim the €10,000 BOYLE Sports Lifford Oaks final over 525 yards at the County Donegal venue.

Pat Guilfoyle's Irish Derby finalist was yet to win in the event having struggled to see out the trip round the stiff circuit but pinged from trap two and was always in command.

Around four lengths clear at halfway, she was closed down all the way to the line by Hackney Tango but had enough in hand to prevail by half a length in 28.69sec, with Guilfoyle's Daleroad Mya third.
