MICKYS TRIBUTE was made to work much harder by kennelmate Dazl Hermes than seven days earlier but Ricky Holloway's still broke his own 435m hurdles track record as Star Pelaw staged its second jumps race.
Dazl Hermes pinged from four and led until the third bend but Mickys Tribute hurdled the more fluently along the back and swept into the lead seemingly with momentum.

However, both greyhounds hit the last flight to keep it close with Mickys Tribute prevailing by a length in a time of 25.97sec (normal), an improvement of 38 spots on his first attempt a week earlier when the going was rated -30.
