Noel can open Limerick account ahead of brother's Kirby outing

TYRAP NOEL ran easily his best race on first start outside novice company when beaten a neck into second last time and David Carroll's pup can go one better in Limerick's A5 over 525 yards at 4.18. 

Litter-brother Tyrap Bucko went on to win the unraced competition the pair debuted in and he goes in the Kirby Memorial at the track this weekend so the fact there was not a chunk between the pair in qualifying speaks volumes.

Capable of leading the charge, the July 2024 youngster can quickly build a winning advantage.

Other Limerick fancies are Donncha McNamara's Aqua Camellia (3.03) and Pat Conway's Lodge Kiwi (5.14), while Brendan Murphy's Rockmount Maggie (11.29) appeals at the morning Irish meeting at Waterford.

There is also early UK Thursday action at Oxford where Debbie Pearce's Naughty Bonnie can maintain her upward profile by dominating A6 rivals over 450m at 12.46.

Christian Darch's Affleck Salsabil (3.49) makes most appeal at Valley, while Glenn Foot's Moanteen Pudding (7.42) can regain the winning thread at Star Pelaw.
