Nominations announced for the Irish National Greyhound Awards

The nominations have been announced for Ireland's 2025 National Greyhound Awards with the ceremony to be held at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium on Sunday 8th March.

The quality of the nominees across each of the seven categories is evidence of a tremendous year on the track and the Irish Derby, Irish Oaks, Irish Sprint Cup and Corn Cuchulainn winners all make the various short lists.

Cheap Sandwiches, Faypoint Ranger and Seven Beach are the three nominees for Dog of the Year, while Carrigmore Freya, Magical Mag and Magical On Fire all earned their nomination for the Bitch of the Year.

The Supreme Greyhound of the Year will be named on the night.
