Not So Slow the Towcester open picks but Donny's Shar is best

NOT SO SLOW stood in for Derby-winning kennelmate Droopys Plunge at last week's Classic presentation at Towcester but should be on the podium in his own right after the opening 270m sprint there at 1.57.
Patrick Janssens' charge had to settle for second in the sprint final won by unbeaten Shadow Storm but ran really well all the same and should have too much all-round for today's rivals.
Other Towcester open fancies are Carol Weatherall's Untold Zloty (2.52), Richard Rees' Zenith Sultan (3.29), Janssens' Breton Molly (3.49) and Kevin Boon's Skirk Joshua (4.26).
At Valley, Christian Darch's Freddo should prove best of the six locals who contest a 260m sprint open at 12.04, while the bet of the day could come at Doncaster's early meeting in the shape of Debbie Calvert's Rathmeehan Shar at 1.03.
Winner of her last two 450m races at this B3 level, she should be at her peak following seasonal rest and the inside draw is an added bonus.
There are also SIS Irish Sunday meetings at Mullingar, Clonmel and Lifford with the respective suggestions being Droopys Roar (3.22), Ascot Aaron (6.21) and Missbluewood (8.38).
