Nothing Kranky about backing Hutton's Drake second time up

NO let-up in the open action at Towcester after last night's brilliant Derby final gala and while the action understandably drops a notch there are still some decent races to get stuck into today.
Best bet on the card could come in a 500m maiden at 4.44 where Kevin Hutton's Kranky Drake can open his account after really caching the eye in a strong puppy heat last weekend.
He did a huge amount of running to claim third from way off the pace having found bad trouble and will be exceptionally hard to hold with a clear.
Kranky Drake (T5) ran a blinder in defeat on his debut last weekend
Hutton can also score with Resonate (4.07) while other open fancies are Pete Harnden's Salacres Tipster (2.33), Ellie Field's Kilara Berb (3.11), Seamus Gaughan's Doohoma Princess (3.49), Carol Weatherall's Gripwell Peg (5.21) and Sam Lapidge's Kalukis Gamble (5.54).
There is evening open action at Star Pelaw highlighted by three heats of the Alan Dobbin Derby over 435m for which the selections are Glenn Foot's Dreamin Porcha (8.52), Roy Smith's Killieford Hanna (9.09) and George Walker's Popper Joe (9.26).
The Star Sports Bet On-Course Maiden 435 final at 8.34 looks best left to Colin Watson's fastest heat winner Brunos Boy.
The are also SIS Sunday meetings at Doncaster and Valley (morning), Mullingar (afternoon) plus Clonmel and Lifford (evening).
