Oxford unveil Sandy Lane Sprint sponsor, details open schedule

OXFORD has announced that the upcoming Sandy Lane Sprint is to be a first greyhound sponsorship for website theultimatetipster.com

A racing office spokesman said: "We are delighted that the Category Two Sandy Lane Sprint will be sponsored by theultimatetipster.com

"This is their first sponsorship in greyhound racing and we are thrilled to welcome them to Oxford. Entries for the 253m event close on Wednesday at noon."

The Cowley track recently revealed that weekly open-racing world take place on Saturdays for the foreseeable future and has now added some additional competitions.

The spokesman explained: "We have penciled in Category Three events to run alongside the Category One bet365 Hunt Cup and the Sandy Lane Sprint which starts this weekend."

Meanwhile, planned work on the running surface has now been finished with the spokesman saying: "Re-cambering after the winter break has been completed and the feedback from the trainers over the past few meetings has been very positive."
