Progressive Sawdust Barry is obvious in Kilkenny's A4 final

SAWDUST BARRY has a rapidly-upward profile and Murt Leahy's youngster has to be fancied to follow up his impressive heat victory in the final of the Time Greyhound Nutrition A4 over 525 yards at Kilkenny (8.32).
A respectable, if well beaten, nine lengths second debut effort has been followed by two victories with an aggregate winning margin of 16 lengths, including the heats of this event last week when he clocked comfortably the fastest time of the round.
He will face far stiffer assignments in future and it will be quite a surprise if he does not land the €650 first prize with something to spare.
Easily the most valuable race of the day sees €4,800 on offer in the final of the Time Greyhound Nutrition & Kgoba A3 525 at 9.06 where there could be another trap six winner in the shape of Andrew Lynch's Pretty Exile who is bidding to complete an unbeaten run through the event.
There is early Friday Irish action at Mullingar with Thomas Ivory's Delvin Man (1.12) the main fancy of the day, while Oisin O'Duill's Kuma Rhaenyra also has claims in the opener at 11.13.
Harlow has a morning/evening double-header with Debbie Hurlock's Chasing Aiden (11.04) and Darren Whitton's Moaning Gentile (7.42) the respective main fancies, while Con Condon's Da Monster is a standout in Towcester's A2 over 500m at 2.44 and Terry Nevin's Savana Bueno (4.07) best at Oxford.
