Rapid duo Setanta and Patriot now head Irish Laurels betting
BALLYMAC SETANTA (27.94sec) and Droopys Patriot (27.99sec), both 16/1 chances pre-event, are now disputing favouritism for the BarOne Racing Irish Laurels after recording the only two sub-28sec winning times for the for the 525 yards trip at Curraheen Park.
Ballymac Setanta's trainer Liam Dowling, doubled up courtesy of Ballymac Brandan (28.31sec), a feat matched by Jennifer O'Donnell with Born Braver (28.33sec) and The Other Mel (28.46sec).
It’s a 27.94 winning performance from Ballymac Setanta in heat number eight of the Bar One Racing Irish Greyhound Laurels here at Curraheen Park. It’s a quick double for trainer Liam Dowling.
