Rocky set to rebound at Donny but Kielty makes most appeal

KEEFILL ROCKY made an unfortunate exit from the British Bred Derby at Towcester last weekend but minor compensation awaits in Doncaster's 7.42 over 450m.
Phil Milner's dog has won five of his last seven over the course and distance having been one from six prior to that sequence so he has clearly got to grips with it.
He faces two very useful sorts in Gothic Joshua and Look Smart but has the advantage of being drawn inside that duo and that can prove key, Milner also having strong claims with Droopys Glam (7.24) and Epic Rebel (8.34).
First of the Donny opens is a 450m maiden at 6.29 which looks fairly strong for its type but could still offer the best bet of the day in the shape of Darren Golightly's Newline Kielty.
She made a winning British debut in B2 grade a couple of weekends back before being pitched in at the deep end in the Puppy Oaks heats at Oxford where, despite lacking a previous look round, she ran with massive credit in a hot contest.
A fast start here can see her quickly in charge and it would be disappointing were she beaten from such a position.
Slaneyside Swade did not start as well as he has been when beaten into a very close fourth behind previous victim Rental Crisis last week and a shaper exit can see Kirsty Grayson's charge reverse the form in the 7.58 over 275m.
The closing 483m open at 8.52 looks best left to Ricky Overton's Foxwood Carter, while there is also a morning card at Doncaster at which Sue Watson's consistently-placed Ballymac Gail (12.52) can finally end a frustrating run without a win since September.
Dave Jeans' Hiya Salah (8.26) is an evening pick at Oxford.
*The scheduled afternoon meeting at Youghal has been cancelled due to adverse weather and hare problems.
