Royal can make wait worthwhile with a follow-up Tralee victory

PATIENCE can prove a virtue at Tralee today where the best bet could come in the A4 finale over 525 yards at 2.18 in the shape of BALTOVIN ROYAL.
Thomas Regan's bitch doubled her career tally with a first four-bend victory in this grade three weeks ago and there seems no obvious reason not to expect more of the same.
That win, which followed an earlier sprint success, was notable for the manner in which she powered home from the final bend and she should prove very hard to hold with anything like a clear.
Other fancies at the early meeting at the Kingdom Stadium are Seamus Cooper's Tokenfire Glory (11.29), Eileen Gleeson's Camp Razzel (11.45) and Edward O'Sullivan's Underdainfluence (1.47).
Valley is the afternoon venue where Tony Morgan's consistent Slid John (4.37) can end a run of near-misses, while Robert McCarthy's Cream Biscuit (7.42) looks good in an A4 at Star Pelaw this evening.
