Sargie and Lily both prove too good for final favourite rivals

BALLYMAC SARGIE and Hillside Lily, both second favourites, turned over their market rivals to land Star Pelaw's two feature events on Saturday.
The Tom Heilbron-trained Ballymac Sargie, beaten at odds of 1/7 in the first round, confirmed semi-final supremacy over local star Emilys Superstar to land the £3,000 Untold Racing Stewards Cup final over 590m, with Hillside Lily, the only greyhound Martin Stout has in training, just getting the better of a thrilling ding-dong tussle with Dreamin Porcha in the £3,000 SR Transport Rose Bowl final over 435m.
Heilbron had earlier initiated a double thanks to Unanimous Leon (25.33sec) in the Rose Bowl consolation, with Dean Blackbird's Killieford Goram (35.87sec) taking the Stewards Cup equivalent.

Chloe Hardy's Bramble Nickeen (14.50sec) comfortably landed the odds in a 245m sprint final, while Diane Henry's Savana Regimental (48.87sec) stormed to victory in the 780m marathon.
