The 2/1 second favourite led from the first bend and, try as she might, 11/10 market leader Emilys Superstar always seemed held which ultimately proved correct with Ballymac Sargie scoring by almost three lengths in 35.57sec (normal).

HILLSIDE LILY, the only greyhound Martin Stout has in training, just got the better of a thrilling ding-dong tussle with Dreamin Porcha in the £3,000 SR Transport Rose Bowl final over 435m at Star Pelaw.

The duo clocked identical 5.37sec sectionals and it remained nip and tuck thereafter, Hillside Lily eventually prevailing by the minimum short-head margin in 25.82sec (noral).
