Seventh heaven for Ashway June as she breaks Valley 645m clock
ASHWAY JUNE set a new track record for Valley's 645m trip when recording her seventh win in 10 starts over the course and distance on Thursday.
Owned and trained by Adrian Rawlings, the 4/9 favourite led round the first bend and was only ever really racing against the clock afterwards even though market rival Carrick Scholsey turned second.

Five lengths clear with a circuit to go, Ashway June had extended that advantage to nearly nine by the winning line as she clocked 39.86sec.
That represents an improvement of nine spots on the previous mark of Droopys Suprstar set in April 2025 and is only the second sub-40.00sec run since the track opened under GBGB rules in 2023.
