Shelbourne redevelopment is recognised at industry awards
THE much-vaunted redevelopment of Shelbourne Park was recognised at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards on Thursday.
The project - and LAM Architects and Grant Fit Out - picked up two awards for Architectural Design Excellence and Project Fit-Out up to €5 million.
Work commenced in February last year with a launch in September in time for a delayed BoyleSports Irish Derby.
Included were a new cafe, sports bar and museum in addition to general upgrades.
