Star finally see fortunes rising after a lively third round night

THE tide turned for Star Sports' on-course team at Towcester for the third round of the English Derby last Saturday although it was a night of wild fluctuations.

A first winning night for the firm during the Classic also proved that the greyhound betting market is alive and well with some huge wagers taken, both winners and losers.

Jonathan Kay caught up with Star Sports' Kaan Hughes to discuss the night, the current state of their outright book and early quarter-final thoughts.
