Star Pelaw dead-heat prompts a Christmas-themed 'invasion'
A THRILLING finish to a Star Pelaw A6 contest on Tuesday prompted a post-race invasion of the track for the presentation by some seasonally-dressed characters in addition to the large number of children present.
Honours were shared by the Jo Atkins-trained Tommys Clodagh and Rob McCarthy's Glengiblinbadger who could not be separated as they flashed across the line together just ahead of odds-on favourite Kirstiethepenter who had to settle for third.
No-one seemed to want to miss out on the post-race celebrations as the picture above shows.
