Star Pelaw hopeful of filling first hurdles race on Tuesday evening

STAR PELAW racing manager Dave Gray is hopeful that the track will stage its first hurdles race next Tuesday [24th March] when a 435m jumps open has been advertised.

Entries close at noon on Friday 20th March for the contest and Gray said: "It's looking like it should fill, I’m just working on getting a final entry.

"We’ve made a few tweaks to the set-up of the hurdles as recommended by the GBGB so we're all ready to go for Tuesday. We hope to also have some supporting opens on as well."
