Statistically speaking - looking at the Irish Derby quarter-finals

FAVOURITE backers fared well in the BOYLE Sports Irish Greyhound Derby quarter-finals at Shelbourne Park last Saturday with three of the for obliging and De Ladedah the only one beaten.

Cheap Sandwiches set the time standard with a 29.27sec victory, matching Proper Heiress' round three mark, but the the average winning time regressed ten spots to 29.61sec compared to the previous week.

Three greyhounds clocked 3.40sec sectionals, while Cheap Sandwiches was best to the third bend in 17.03sec.

Trap one accounted for three of the four winners.
