Stonepark can dominate to land Donny final for trainer Fradgley

STONEPARK WES, the fastest heat winner last week, is tough to get away from in Doncaster's 483 Standard Competition final at 7.42.

David Fradgley's dog was quickly in charge seven days ago and, while he shifts from trap one to two, he is capable of leading up the Kirsty Grayson duo of Bossy Bullet and Kilgarran Dolly who dominated the other eliminator, while Fradgley can score subsequently with Daring Moaner over 661m at 8.34.

The other Donny final is a 275m sprint which opens proceedings at 6.11 where Michelle Brown's Essex Tiger can rebound from an odds-on heat reverse.

Best bet on the card could be Ricky Overton's Foxwood Carter in a 483m open at 7.24 with the fact that the confirmed wide runner has a challenging draw in four likely to make him a more enticing price than would otherwise have been the case.

He came up short in a hat-trick bid last time but is better judged on his earlier impressive Yorkshire Derby heat win.

Other Donny non-maiden open fancies are Jason Smith's Westfield Bullet (6.29) and Phil Milner's Keefill Rocky (8.16).

There is also a morning card at Doncaster at which Debbie Calvert's Ferryforth Cody (12.21) can improve on an already excellent 50 per cent strike rate in A2 company.

Kevin McLean's Kerryroad May (3.41), Terry Nevin's Savana Grandad (6.21) and Tony Morgan's Hawkfield Hoffa (8.18) are the picks at Youghal, Oxford and Valley respectively.
