Strike early with class-dropping Baxter in Tralee Tuesday opener

MILLRIDGE BAXTER can get punters off to a flying Tuesday start with victory in Tralee's A5 opener over 525 yards at 11.13.
Donal O'Mahony's dog has two wins in eight starts at the track and has recently been plying his trade in better class races than today's so the opportunity is an obvious one.
He comes into the contest after three successive bronze medals in A4 grade so is in reasonable nick and there is no real pace on the inside so he can be prominent from an early stage.

Padraig Regan's Missmanhattan (11.29) is another very early fancy in an A7 at the Kingdom Stadium, while Brendan Maunsell's Fire Height Drew (12.54) can end a run of seconditis by landing an A4.
Valley is the afternoon venue where Christian Darch's Taxi Joe can complete a D4 sprint hat-trick at 3.59, while Dave Curry's Tromora Whispa (7.42) looks good in an A2 at Star Pelaw this evening.
