Sunny prospects for Phoenix as Mullingar hat-trick beckons

PHOENIX SUNNY has made a terrific start to his career with three wins in seven and further success looks on the cards in Mullingar’s A4 over 525 yards at 6.56.

Ian Reilly’s April 2025 youngster is two from two at this level and still has tremendous scope for further improvement.

He should soon be right up with the action and would take some holding given such a scenario.

Other Mullingar selections are Bawn Monk (6.39) and Tabasco (7.51).

There is earlier Wednesday Irish action at Kilkenny where the main fancy is the syndicate-owned Feed Me Sorbet (1.29) after an excellent second last time out with an earlier suggestion being Brothers Insport (1.12).

Harlow has a double-header with the early pick Dave Carter’s Moaning Monster (12.46) and evening hopes resting with Darren Ellerker’s prolific and well-named Early Pace (8.16).

Doncaster and Valley hold the afternoon fort, respective suggestions being Sue Watson’s Hasty Sam (3.11) and Tony Morgan’s Hawkfield Hugo (3.22).
