The biggest greyhound event in the world will see history made
Trainer Liam Dowling and sponsor Ben Keith with De Lahdedah after last year's Derby victory

THE final of the Star Sports/TRC English Derby at Towcester on Saturday is the biggest greyhound event of 2025 but it is also supported by a stellar card.

Reigning champion De Lahdedah bids to become only the fifth greyhound to retain the title after Mick The Miller, Patricias Hope, Rapid Ranger and Westmead Hawk, while Bockos Diamond can emulate Toms The Best by adding the English Derby to the Irish Derby he won last year.

Every race in every round - including tonight's £175,000 final - of the premier Classic has been broadcast to betting shops, online bookmakers and media outlets courtesy of SIS.

Star Sports final prices (at time of publication): T1 Droopys Plunge 12/1, T2 Sole Mio 11/2, T3 De Lahdedah 7/2, T4 Bombay Pat 16/1, T5 Cheap Sandwiches 4/1, T6 Bockos Diamond 11/10.

There is a Classic double-header on sisracing.tv with coverage also of the €25,000 Sporting Press Online Edition Irish Oaks final from Shelbourne Park, the whole card previewed by Ian Fortune via the link below, while there are also SIS meetings at Doncaster (morning and evening), Youghal and Oxford.
