Versatile Wheatsheaf can show her speed for another Pelaw win

WHEATSHEAF STAR is incredibly versatile distance-wise having placed in an open sprint in addition to winning over four- and six-bends since June but the standard 435m trip she faces in Star Pelaw's A3 at 7.58 may be her optimum.

There are two Irish Thursday SIS meetings with Emma Mackey's Brynoffa Scotch (12.21) set for a breakthrough success in A7 grade at Waterford having run a blinder in better company last time, while old favourite Lion And Legend (4.37) has strong claims for Chris O'Dwyer at Limerick.
