Additionally, the MWD Partnership of Wallis and Mike Davis has been named Owner of the Year 2025.
The Owner of the Year is awarded to the owner or owners whose greyhounds have collected the highest number of points based on a scale recognising the number of the competition finals reached – and won – and the prestige of those competitions.
The MWD Partnership’s team of greyhounds, all trained by Wallis, amassed a huge 2,084.5 points to retain the title, finishing ahead of leading British breeder David Firmager (1,068 points) and the JR Racing Syndicate (666) who enter the top three for the first time following a hugely successful 2025.
Mark Moisley, GBGB commercial director, said: “Congratulations to the MWD Partnership on winning Owner of the Year for a second year in a row.
"With more than 15 Category One wins and many other accolades, it will certainly be a year to remember for them.
“Every racing greyhound owner makes a vital contribution to our sport, ensuring that our greyhounds are well provided for so they can reach their full potential on the track. I look forward to seeing many of our owners at the Awards ceremony on 5th March so we can celebrate all their achievements from 2025.”
